1) Old Testament - Ten Commandments

   Exodus 20

Link- http://scriptures.lds.org/en/matt/1

Story Synopsis- After multiple months of traveling in the desert, God tells Moses to come speak with him on top of a mountain. God told him to tell the Israelites to get ready, so Moses came down to tell the people to have a bath and to clean all their clothes. (This is why people get dressed up to go to church). Next, God gave Moses a list of rules that humans should strive to follow.

RULES OF BEING FABULOUS

RULE 1. Let Good Thoughts Be Your Sword and Shield.

           RULE 2. Ignore Adversity.

RULE 3. Obey the Rules of Love.

RULE 4. Live Larger than Life

To Wong Fu, is a movie starring Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes. In this movie they both play men who dress and look like woman a.k.a Drag Queens. Along their journey they meet "Chi Chi" and decide to take 'her' under their wing. Chi Chi argues that she is a fabulous drag queen but "Vida" (Swayze) and "Noxema" (Snipes) argue otherwise. They tell Chi Chi that there are 4 rules she must obey if she wants to achieve the status of "Fabulous". Noxema argues that these rules come from a higher power and not just her imagination. The idea of rules being decreed by high powers is an allusion to Moses and the Ten Commandments of God. "The Rules" somewhat even mirror the last of the Commandments that pertain to how humans should interact with each other. The Commandments tell people how to be good Christians and "the Rules" tell people how to be FABULOUS.

2) New Testament - Angel Appears to Mary and Joseph

    Matthew 1

Link-http://gardenofpraise.com/bibl86s.htm

Mary was a Jewish girl who was one day visited by an angel. Though she was already engaged to be married, the angel told her that she was going to carry and give birth to the son of God. Joseph was also visited by an angel as assured that Mary was indeed a virgin. Had the townspeople learned of Mary's child, they would have assumed her to be filthy whore (not knowing of God's plan) and would have most likely killed her. One night, they had to travel to the city of Bethlehem to pay their taxes, but Mary went into labor. They stayed in a stable because all the rooms were full, and Jesus was born in a manger.

Dr. Dana Scully from X-files

After being pronounced infertile, Scully became pregnant in the show's seventh season finale. The child, named William, after Mulder's father, was born at the end of the eight season. William was given up for adoption during the end of the ninth season after Scully felt she could no longer provide the safety that William needed. William was a "miracle child", of some importance to the alien Conspiracy as he demonstrated extraordinary powers, including telekinesis and extreme intelligence.

(Yeah, this show was a little weird...but I loved it)

The idea of "a miracle child" is a direct allusion to Jesus Christ. Just as William was coveted by the Alien Race, Jesus was said to be especially important to God himself. Mary gave birth to a child and remained a virgin and Scully gave birth to a child after being pronounced infertile. Both children were miracles of a higher power.
